Spiritual Warrior

Every soldier knows that he or she must go through training in order to develop the capabilities to fulfill the role of a warrior. During this training the soldier learns many lessons. This is true for us as spiritual warriors. We learn in a spiritual way the same types of things a physical soldier learns. We learn how Christians are to look and act as they serve our Lord.

Ultimately spiritual warfare is between God and Satan. We are the means by which Satan tries to hurt God. Why doesn’t God just destroy Satan? That is the ultimate plan, but God wants to save us from Satan. God grants us a wonderful gift by allowing us to choose to serve Him. Choosing to serve God is our strongest expression of love and our strongest defense against Satan.
