Persecution & Purpose

Why are we here? What is our reason for living? Why do we get up and go about our business each day? These are questions with which most of us grapple at some point in our existence. For some, the answer comes quickly. Others go to their grave without the questions ever being answered. Many people live with temporary answers such as, “I want to provide well for my family to show them I love them,” or “I want to be successful so I can make a difference in this world.” There is certainly nothing wrong with either of these motivations, but they are merely secondary reasons for living. Why are we here?
