Discouragement

Discouragement in our lives is something we all have in common. We experience it at many levels without realizing it could be Satan chipping away at our stronghold so he can enter in and pull us away from God.

The challenges that cause us to become discouraged are real but more real are the promises of God. We are where we are today because we believed in God’s promise of redemption. We must not lose heart and become discouraged. We must remove every opportunity for Satan to gain a foothold. God’s people through the ages have dealt with discouragement in real situations. The faithful we read of in scripture are there as examples for us to help strengthen our resolve. Keep focused on God. Let us make every effort to support and encourage one another.
